Start with the photo that keeps coming back to you.
You do not need an archive plan or editing experience. A single scan is enough to make a meaningful first step.
1. Photograph or scan in even light
Lay a print flat, avoid glare, and keep the camera parallel to the paper. A clear phone photo is a perfectly good starting point. JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC files up to 20 MB are supported.
2. Choose the right amount of help
Faithful Restore is best for a mostly intact portrait with fading or small scratches. Full Restore is better for tears, folds, stains, and missing corners that need a natural reconstruction.
3. Add context only when you know it
The optional facts field is a place for details you are confident about: a dark green dress, a coastal town, a date on the back. The model can use context, but it cannot turn a guess into history.
4. Compare before you keep
Use the before-and-after slider to inspect faces, hands, clothing, and text. Download the result when it feels right, adjust the settings when it does not, or start with another photo.
