What automated processing does
PhotoMend uses generative image-processing technology to reduce visible damage, recover faded detail, add plausible color, and reconstruct physically missing areas when Full Restore is selected.
What can change
Even careful restoration may alter small facial details, hands, clothing, text, boundaries, or proportions. Faithful Restore reduces this risk but does not eliminate it.
Interpretation, not truth
Black-and-white color is not uniquely recoverable. Missing content is inferred from visual context. Treat both as a natural-looking interpretation rather than historical verification.
