Data Deletion

OldPhoto's current beta processes photos for restoration and does not provide a user-facing permanent photo library.

Last updated: August 25, 2026

Automatic photo deletion

OldPhoto stores submitted photos, completed restoration outputs, and associated diagnostic metadata in a private Cloudflare R2 bucket. A lifecycle rule expires every object seven days after creation. Physical removal may complete shortly after expiration. The service does not provide a permanent photo library or backup.

What a failed request keeps

When restoration fails after the original was accepted, the original photo and limited diagnostic metadata may remain for up to seven days so the failure can be investigated. Failed attempts do not use a free restoration. If secure storage fails before model processing starts, no model request is made.

Service-provider copies and logs

The R2 lifecycle applies to OldPhoto's private archive only. Temporary copies may also exist in transit, active AI-processing systems, caches, backups, security records, or provider logs. Those retention periods may differ according to provider practices and legal or operational requirements.

Requests

Deletion or privacy requests may be sent to support@photomend.app. Include the diagnostic reference shown by the restoration workspace when available. We may require reasonable verification and may retain information where permitted or required by law.
